Hello, I'm Miqa! I am a Year 3 student at Temasek Polytechnic, currently pursuing my diploma in Digital Film and Television. My passion for filmmaking began ever since I was 12, when I watched Heat (1995) with my grandfather for the first time. Ever since then, I have always strived to strengthen my knowledge within the realm of filmmaking and honing my skills as a filmmaker and a storyteller, and I am always excited and eager to expand my horizons in the world of film!
Within my time at Temasek Polytechnic, I have dived into the technical and creative side of filmmaking, learning more about the various different aspects and parts to filmmaking. I have spent the past three years behind and in-front of the camera, serving as an Assistant Director and an Editor for DFT-related content, while also working as an actor for external projects!
I am also part of a student-founded production house that goes by the name of Redacted Filems. It was created by my friends and I as an outlet to express our creativity within the realm of filmmaking. I currently serve as its Creative Director.
